Story Time - Why Data Science?
I always seek ways to become a good problem solver. However, my data science journey is not plain sailing as it is not my degree major. But then, I discovered my interest in data analytics during my internship at an ERP solutions firm.
After my graduation, I worked on logistics solutions projects for my full-time job. All data analysis tasks are carried out using Excel Pivot Table. With no prior coding experience, I achieved 95% of time reduction in weekly reports generation process using Excel VBA. By realising Excel can be that powerful, I become even more eager to acquire related coding skills and learn data analytics in a systematic approach. Therefore, I decided to be fully committed in learning data science.
